We find that it is important to us to support selected projects which help to improve health, learning and developmental conditions for disadvantaged children. Money seldom makes you happy, but we can use money to help children, who live in difficult situations, to have a happy smile on their faces.

Since 2002, the charitable organization Forikolo e.V. has supported children and adolescents in the Loko Masama region in Sierra Leone / West Africa. The focal point has been the construction of primary and secondary schools, since education is the key to development in all forms. Up to now, they have completed four schools, and two further schools are in construction.
Besides the construction of schools, Forikolo e.V. also supports agricultural projects, to better the nutrition of the children in rural areas, because it is hard to learn on an empty stomach. Here, too, Forikolo e.V. can boast completed projects.

"Wir machen Schule. Machen Sie mit"
Handicapped children need a special kind of support so that they also have the chance to live a self-determined and successful life.
For close to 150 years, the stiftung st. franziskus heiligenbronn in Schramberg has maintained special schools for blind, visually impaired, hearing impaired and deaf-blind children. Since the numbers of deaf-blind and multiple disabled children has been increasing over the years, a new school building in Heiligenbronn is being built.
The organization must carry most of the construction costs and is funded by donations. To support this, the fund-raising campaign "Wir machen Schule. Machen Sie mit." was brought to life.
