Facemount™ UV is the first choice when it comes to the face- mounting of images to clear substrates like PetG™, acrylic, Plexiglas™ and polycarbonate. The polyester film that is self-adhesive on both sides, has completely neutral optical characteristics. The pressure sensitive solvent acrylic adhesive provides strong peel adhesion and is covered with a siliconised polyester liner, in order to achieve an absolutely smooth surface. The UV inhibitors that are added to the adhesive prevent the adhesive from yellowing and offer additional protection against UV radiation to the underlying prints.

For quality reasons, Facemount™ UV should only be processed on roller laminators, whereby the optimum settings depend to a large extent on the substrates and the laminator being used. Facemount™ UV provides fantastic results if handled carefully. Therefore we always recommend that you carry out tests first, under your own individual conditions.
