Polyester Clear Film, glossy, self adhesive, for glass decoration and shop window advertisement. Single side coated, good scratch resistance, non-buckling. Brilliant colour reproduction.
Drying characteristics are very dependent on the inks used as well as the colour saturation and therefore on the amount of solvent applied. If the film is printed using the roll-to-roll process, the printed web should be unrolled again and laid out flat in order to avoid interlocking. Solvent residues can also negatively impact on flatness, shrinkage characteristics and the adhesion of a lamination. Particularly if eco solvent inks are being used, we recommend protecting the printed surface against wear, hand sweat or other mechanical influences, through the application of a self-adhesive lamination film or suitable liquid lamination. The removal of adhered film from the first print is made much simpler by warming it using a hairdryer or hot air gun. The film should be warmed up at a sharp angle, slowly and evenly. Film that has been stuck onto car rear screens must be removed without jerking in order to avoid damaging any aerial or heating elements.
