signJET ClearPrint 160 is a highly transparent display film for the production of light boxes, displays, on-glass decorations and similar tasks, suitable for both front print and back print applications. The prints are characterised by colour-neutral reproduction and good contrast. They are lightfast and can be wiped with a damp cloth. The particularly fine matting agents in the coating serve primarily to ensure reliable media feed through the printer, and do not impair the transparency of the film.

To maintain quality, the product must be stored and finished at a relative humidity of 30 – 65 % and a temperature of 15 – 30 °C. The inklimit (approximately 220 – 280%) must be adjusted according to the printer, ink and RIP used. The temperature for preheating or drying the media should not exceed 45 °C, as overheating can adversely affect the flatness of the film. After printing, special attention should be paid to complete drying of the colours, because solvents diffuse through the film.
