Murakumo Kozo Select white
Japanese mulberry paper
Murakumo Kozo is made of a blend of 90% Kozo fibres and only 10% alpha cellulose. The Kozo raw material is obtained from the bark of the mulberry tree. Pure kozo’ s sinewy yet natural soft fibers imbue Murakumo Kozo Select with an appealing rustic beauty and lasting organic charm. The papers’ lovely texture makes it highly desirable for the printing of Asian artworks while lending a tactile beauty to photographs, giclee’ prints and artists books. Furthermore, this fine art paper’s unparalleled strength vs. thinness ratio makes it ideal for both hanging scrolls and folding screens, too. Due to the papers high kozo fiber content, tiny organic matter may occasionally be found.
Since this paper is thin, art with a very large printing surface (or very high ink density) may waver lightly.
