Overview of color profiles
Photo Rag Satin was designed for digital use with the structure, the feeling and the grace of traditional materials. It is distinguished by its velvety, white surface and it consists of 100% cotton. Thus it is suitable for photographic use and photo-realistic reproductions. “Photo Rag Satin” lets the printed works of art and photographs appear in a silk gleam. Also at this quality the unprinted area remains matt. “Photo Rag Satin” achieves a harmoneous high color intensity and exact sharpness of outline with both, pigmented and dye-based inks on various printing systems. All the fine papers and board from the mould made paper mill at Hahnemühle are manufactured in accordance to DIN 6738 / ISO 9706. All papers produced as per these standards are 100% acid-free and have a neutral ph-value, so that they are extremely non-ageing over several centuries.
For quality reasons the processing and storage of Aquarell PhotoRag should take place in a climate from 35-65% relative humidity and at a temperature from 10-30°C.
