signJET Plakat Pro is a waterproof outdoor poster paper with a white, satin surface. The blue reverse reliably covers underlying posters. Productivity is significantly increased through fast drying and lower sensitivity to temperature. signJET Plakat Pro is characterized by minimized curl and longer working life. Prints should air for 4-12 hours before first contact with water. Prints should be affixed within 24 hours of moistening. The glue should be applied to the board and not to the paper. Glues such as Henkel UST 2500N Zellura and Bacoplak Bacocell can be used. Glykols and other solvents should not be added. Be sure to apply enough glue to the overlapping areas, wood glue can be added for added strength (please test for compatability). Expected shrinkage after moistening and drying of the poster is up to 1% lengthwise and crosswise.

Should other than the recommended printers, glue or methods be used, problems such as setoff of color and detachment from the substrate can result. We highly recommend through testing of the product. The processing and storage of signJET Plakat Pro should take place in a climate of approximately 50% relative humidity and at a temperature of about 23°C. Store in the original package in a cool, dry place, clean and dust free. Avoid contact with the ink jet coating (wear cotton gloves).
