Torchon 285
Mould made watercolor board
This product combines the traditional qualities of a watercolor board with those of inkjet materials. The characteristic Torchon surface gives expression to the typical effects of painting in water-colors amazingly genuine, independent of reproductions of open and light compositions or of artistic productions with vigorous colors of high contrast. Thanks to the special color receipt coat which even stresses the natural paper character the water-color board Torchon achieves a harmoneous color intensity and exact sharpness on various printing systems with both pigmented and dye-based inks. It can be used for visiting and menue cards as well as greeting cards and vouchers, invitations, presentations, fine art reproductions, envelopes for company reports etc. All the fine papers and board from the mould made paper mill at Hahnemühle are manufactured in accordance to DIN 6738 / ISO 9706. All papers produced as per these standards are 100% acid-free and have a neutral phvalue, so that they are extremely non-ageing over several centuries.
For quality reasons the processing and storage of Aquarell “Torchon” should take place in a climate from 35-65% relative humidity and at a temperature from 10-30°C.
